A lovely riad, hidden away, accessed through a busy souk it was an oasis of peace and tranquility and with friendly helpful staff what more could you ask for? We'll definitely be coming back!
This French owned Riad is run by a local couple, Mariam and Thami, offers five star ambience in a 4 room facility. Very clean, the rooms are tastefully decorated in traditional Moroccan style with attention to detail. The couple would go out of their way to help, and strive to provide an atmosphere of comfort and luxury. Perhaps the best accomodation experience in Morocco. I would highly recommend staying here for a chance to emmerse yourselves in local culture.
Our host were extremely friendly and helpful... After negative experiences in Fez, we can say that they saved our image of Moroccans! Tea and cookies were offered to us when we arrived. The room was well decorated and spacious. The garden was just lovely. The common room is also very warm and cosy, stuffed with books and cushions.
liked the decoration of the house, beautiful mix of old restored (moroccan) and new (Ikea), peaceful and intimate.people working there are also nice but they don't speak english
It' very difficult to find, there are no signs outside of the house and you will for sure get lost trying to find it, so the best thing is to call the owner when you come in the city and tell him to pick you up.
Loved the location - right in the heart of the medina.
This was the best place we stayed during our 2week trip. It's fresh, clean and calm. It's not easy to find but if Thami picks you up you won't have any problems (don't listen to any of the people in the parking lot who suprisingly know exactly where you want to go and who you are waiting for... :)
V good husband & wife team,we where well looked after and only a 2 mins from the stalls as the Riad is in the old medina around a few alleys.
Maybe the shower head could hv a hook on the wall
The riad was beautiful! I think it was the best riad we went to. The host was very friendly and felt like family...which I never say. It was extremely clean and cozy. The host's family is really beautiful too ....his baby is very cute.
The only thing I would advise them to do is to just add a handle in the shower so the person doesn't have to hold it. Also, an electric heater would be better for the room. I can't complain....because it was really nice and we would definitely return!
